A Health & Safety Manager will be allocated each new project to ensure complete compliance of all aspects of work in conjunction with relevant legislation.
The importance we place on health and safety will be reflected in all activities that the Company undertakes at all times and as part of our obligation to meet the Construction Design Management guidelines (CDM) we will issue project specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements prior to commencement of any of the specified works commencing.
We acknowledge the role which our employees and site operatives play in the proper execution and management of such issues and we issue and govern strict site rules covering all aspects of Health & Safety awareness.

We also ensure that our supply chain is approved by us as competent to carry out their works safely.

Environmental Impact
Our main target is to be carbon neutral, with net-zero emissions, by 2050 aligned to Planet Mark carbon reduction targets and low carbon leadership strategy.
We expect our suppliers to be aware of an promote materials with reduced environmental impacts and be able to provide declarations on the embodied impacts of their products. Where viable, Rocare will give preference to the use of timber and timber products which are assured as 'Grown in Britain'. This will be challenging, but we will try.
We will look for opportunities where suppliers can reuse materials wherever viable and maximise use of recycled or secondary contents in products and packaging.
